Acceptance is a Feeling We Should All Experience
Acceptance and Confidence is for Everyone!
Just today, I was thinking about the feeling of "Acceptance"…
When exactly does one start to yearn for “Acceptance”?
Is it when we are born?
Is it when we start a new job?
Is it when we become a new member of a family?
So many times in life we are faced with the challenge of being accepted. Acceptance is for everyone.
Feeling accepted often depends on many things. Often it could be a situation, people around us, or our “confidence” that will almost always affect how we feel about being accepted. It’s important to realize that we can get through the tough times and emerge happy and confident. It’s just that it may take a little while sometimes.
We may feel challenged at any age and yearn for the feeling of acceptance. If we have lost a loved one, for instance, we will sometimes experience such changes in our environment that our mental stronghold is shaken to its core. Young and old alike can suffer. This is the time when help, support, and psychological care is most needed. The inner person needs to have love. This is when we should show others love and also experience self love for ourselves. It is medicine for the soul, and the mental vitamins for new psychological growth. Emotions are so sensitive. The fears, and the unknown, shake the ground we stand on.
Sometimes, we all need a little help.
The pain of non acceptance for the first time cuts like a knife. It wounds us for life, creating a scar that we can sometimes see on ourselves forever.
These worries are in all of us that live and breathe. Our ability to deal with it depends on our ability to feel confident. Our confidence in turn may require a strong emotional support system. We feel the hunger for acceptance. Often, it is just that we need a smile and a pat on the back. A little reassurance or a lot, either way, it helps immensely to have the brighter part of the day pointed out to us instead of the black clouds we are feeling at the moment.
The need for acceptance somehow affects our self-esteem which in turns affects our emotional stability where worry and anxiety seed from. If you know the feeling of non-acceptance or low self-esteem, then you know how controlled a person may feel. The feeling of self confidence is greatly weakened.
Trust me, there is no fun for the person that is experiencing a feeling of a lack of acceptance or the feelings of loneliness. Imprisoned by it, a person may have to balance two minds.
Please try to have more patience and understanding. We all need support and acceptance to get us through our lows. Help is the first step to happiness and healthy self esteem. Once confidence is restored, we can all begin to enjoy the relationship between each other. We can begin to find and feel happiness.
Help yourself, or someone you know to look up, not down, at the world around you.
